Aircraft Twirls Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Popular California Beach
A helicopter flying near a crowded coastal beach unexpectedly started spinning uncontrollably, finally losing altitude and crashing into a cluster of palm trees as spectators looked on.
Footage posted on social media depict the aircraft beginning to twirl over the beach then plunging in the direction of the edge of the beach, where it gets stuck amidst palm groves and a staircase adjacent to the Pacific Coast highway.

Local firefighters stated five persons were taken to hospital involving two who were in the chopper and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” after the crash on the weekend.
Three people on the street were injured. Specifics on their condition were not yet released.
